Reports indicate that Lugogo Cricket has been banned from hosting any shows, be it international or local gigs. This is so because the place has been marred constantly with poor hygiene i.e. they lack places of convenience and they usually borrow Arena’s places of convenience whenever there is a show.

Some time back  Lugogo Cricket Oval was directed by KCCA to build toilets and urinals for the masses that it usually hosts because it’s unhygienic to host huge masses without public places of convenience. Unfortunately, the management of the spacious cricket oval have turned a deaf ear on to the instructions.

And now reliable sources have revealed that under National Council of Sports NCS which manages the premises, a directive has already been passed for the closure of the place. It’s not supposed to host any other event unless it complies with the health and safety rules and regulations of the KCCA Act.
